Language Activity	write I pg 26	Write I pg. 26	tracing lines for handwriting	popcorn letters - letter recog.	What starts with I?  I draw what they say on the white board/or if they want to draw it, they could		tracing their names	I Have Who Has? Letter game
Math	small groups - making pictures with attribute shapes - combining different shapes to make a larger picture - ie: house, ice cream cone, etc.		sorting the attribute shapes - labeling the different shapes (square, circle, triangle, square)	counting objects - one to one correspondance	small groups - asking the children to build a tower like mine - stack single 4 high, stack 2 rows 3 high, pyramid		butterfly shapes - give each child a butterfly shape and they have to find their matching partners	counting assessments during circle time  - Joy uses the Look Who can Count charts
Gross Motor	gym time if time allows - balls and tunnel
Science/extras	Ice Cream Shop set up near Dramatic Play Area - Add the playdough on the blue table to enhance the Ice Cream Shop
Self Help Skills	putting coats on correctly & independently, attempting to zip, putting their papers in their folders and then in their backpacks
Fine Motor	handwriting - proper formation of letter Ii on lined paper		zippers, handwriting, playdough	Handwriting - writing their names independently			handwriting, proper pencil grip, cutting properly	painting and cutting out details from construction paper
Art	Triangle cones glue on paper - finger paint the ice cream shape			paper plate pumpkins - they paint the plate orange on day 1, then add details with black construction paper & glue on the following days - this craft will take most of the week as I would encourage each child to make one and they need to dry
Easels	Ice Cream pictures & watercolor paints
